Bric Butler

Bric Butler is currently a student pursing his bachelor’s degree in economics with minors in political science and business at Hanover College, in his home state of Indiana.

Bric, self-described as a liberal nationalist, seeks to find the balance between the common good of the nation and the freedom of the individual that best permits a culture of liberty to flourish. He derives his own philosophy in regards to politics from multiple influential figures, including Jean-Jacques Rousseau, John Stuart Mill, Voltaire, Thomas Jefferson, Adam Smith, and John Locke, among others.

He has a strong interest in European politics, and political history with a focus on the 18th century European Enlightenment and the French Revolution of 1789.

He is also a former writer for other online publications including The Libertarian Republic and The Odyssey.
