Being Libertarian Statement Regarding The Suspension of Charles Peralo




Statement from the Board of Directors of Being Libertarian LLC

Being Libertarian LLC has suspended the Board membership of Charles Peralo after a series of antagonistic interactions between Mr. Peralo and active members of the liberty movement.

We wish to note that, though it should not be assumed that the conduct of any associate of Being Libertarian LLC represents the views of our organization, we do not condone antagonistic behavior unbecoming of a representative of the liberty movement and will actively distance ourselves from such behavior.

Being Libertarian is no stranger to controversy. We represent the liberty movement by providing a platform by which libertarian activists can express and advocate for their ideas. We encourage civil interactions, discussions, and debates within the community and believe that the most effective way to convey these ideas is in a civil manner. It is therefore that we must emphasize that the articles published on Being Libertarian by Mr. Peralo had no bearing on the suspension, and Mr. Peralo is still a co-founder and writer in good standing for the website.

The Board, however, cannot defend hostile action, threats of violence, or the conduct represented by these actions. The hostile interactions in question do not represent the motives or views of Being Libertarian LLC.
