Partisan Politics and Talking Points Have Officially Run Their Course

The average American is aware of the never ending politics and battles that exists between Republicans and Democrats. Despite their disaccord, both of these groups share several things in common: social justice warriors, support for the expansion of big government, and partisan talking points that are used to prop up their own parties.

The 2016 election absolutely succeeded in bringing out the absolute worst in politics. Radical social justice warriors can’t go a day without accusing someone on social media of being a racist, sexist, or a xenophobe. Likewise, fanatical right wingers, like the alt-right, are incapable of refraining from deranged ramblings of white genocide, anti white agendas, and the like. Ironically, Republicans and Democrats both feed into each other’s arguments without even realizing it, thus explaining the never ending feud between the two parties.

The reasonable men and women of this nation have grown tired of partisan politics and talking points.

Neither one of these things engenders the slightest bit of progress or results. Not every political issue in America has to boil down to Republicans versus Democrats.

There are times when all political parties should be united. Issues such as lowering taxes, decreasing spending, halting terrorism, and creating a small, controlled government should be bipartisan issues. Unfortunately, this is rarely the case. Republicans and Democrats alike politicize every issue to promote their own agendas which is quite unfortunate.

When dealing with politics, freedom and liberty should be the ultimate endgame. Sadly, this has yet to be the case. Democrats have a knack for employing big government policies in order to stay in power. Additionally, they have effectively monetized certain buzzwords, such as “white privilege,” “racist,” “sexist,” “xenophobic,” etc.

Any non-leftist who is even vaguely familiar with American politics is aware that Democrats have reduced themselves to identity politics, division, and victimization in order to stay in power.

Why actually help impoverished minorities get jobs when you can give them government handouts, tell them how much whitey is oppressing them, collect the votes, and then repeat the process in four years?

This act has grown old, and Americans of all ages, races, and backgrounds are sick of it. This kind of behavior was one of the many reasons why Trump was elected into office. Conservatives, libertarians, independents, and others are tired of being called stupid, racist, and sexist simply because we do not support toxic practices like open borders and Sharia law.

Republicans are also partially to blame for played out talking points and divisive partisan politics. As the Democrats have become more radical and unhinged, many Republicans have descended into extremism and some have even morphed into the very groups of people they claim to oppose.

An ideal example exists in the cancerous life form known as the “alt-right.” The alt-right is a group of neo-Nazis masquerading as “alternative” Republicans. The alt-right is nothing more than a group of right wing social justice warriors; instead of using buzzwords like “racism,” “sexism,” or  “xenophobia,” they employ terms like “white genocide” and “cuckservative.”

The only difference between the alt-right and social justice warriors are the things they claim to oppose. These groups are two sides of the same coin; both are toxic to American interests.

Furthermore, the never ending debate about banning guns and abortions is absolutely and utterly inane. The logical, nonpartisan reality is this: neither guns nor abortions will ever be banned. Outlawing either one of these things only ensures that people employ illegal means in order to obtain them. If someone truly wants to acquire a gun, they will do so, even if they have to resort to theft or the black market. Likewise, if a woman truly wants an abortion, she’s going to get one, even if it means falling down the stairs or using a coat hanger, which can be fatal.

Democrats need to understand that guns are a part of American society. No amount of gun control will stop crime, because lawless people don’t follow gun control laws. Republicans need to accept the reality that abortions are an option to women in America. Those who do not like the practice should not engage in it; meanwhile Republicans cannot force their values onto other people. It simply does not work.

The “two-party system” has officially failed Americans. Republicans and Democrats are two sides of the same coin; they each employ partisan politics and talking points, regardless of any logic, reasoning, or common sense that disproves their beliefs.

People on both sides of the aisle need to wake up to reality. Resorting to name-calling will never convince the political opposition. Certain practices and items will never be banned from America. The ongoing battle between Republicans and Democrats exists because these parties feed into each other’s nonsense instead of being proactive and engaging in conduct that will benefit the people of this nation.
