The Trump Conspiracy: A Perspective

What if?

The 2016 presidential election season is the craziest one I can remember during my lifetime… and that’s a long time! I have heard rumors about just about everything, but today I feel inspired to discuss one rumor I have heard too many times to ignore: That Donald Trump is here to get Hillary Clinton elected.

I will not speak to whether or not I believe it to be true, but for the benefit of my conspiracy theorist friends, I will explore what this would mean if it were true.

There is no question that Donald Trump strongly appeals to a rather finite group of Republicans. Republicans who believe that members of a worldwide religion should not have free entry into the USA. Republicans who believe that anyone who speaks a different language and works to improve their lives and recognize the acuteness of their situation with such urgency that they choose to put the needs of feeding their families above the needs of arbitrary laws which restrict entry to our country to earn a living. Republicans who care not to follow the direction of the Constitution and want to enforce their moral code on everyone else.

This swath of the Republican Party represents about 5% of the population, but it is an active and vocal group… effective enough to have their choice installed as the Republican Party nominee for President of the United States.

Now, back to the conspiracy, folks. Let’s say that his research showed that he could use this strategy to secure the nomination, but it would be so wild that the rest of the nation was so turned off by his rhetoric that it splintered the party and resulted in an election victory for the Democratic nominee.

What would this really mean?

Here it is, in a nutshell: If Donald Trump was influenced by the Democrats to perform this rather monumental task, strictly for the purpose of guaranteeing a victory for the Democratic nominee, it would be quite a strong message. It would show that the Democrats and the Republicans truly have been on the same team all these years, to the exclusion of the American people.

Most people, with the exception of those who still subscribe to the divisive hate rhetoric of the Democrats and the Republicans, now realize that there may be a difference in the statements of the old parties, but once in office they do pretty much the same things. They grow government, they continue taxing the people eight ways from Sunday, and they both adore war on foreign shores.

If they have a long term plan that they are executing arm in arm, and they lost enough favor to lose control of the nation and not be able to implement their evil strategy with the two parties being separate, the truth will have to eventually come out. They will have to pull out all the stops to stay in control, and they would most certainly do just that.

The only way to put a monkey wrench in any long term evil plan, is to keep the outsiders from taking over.

Right now, the biggest threat to the status quo and any evil plan to destroy the universe is the Libertarian Party. Since the majority of Americans now support the basic principle that people should be able to live their chosen lives in peace, without government getting in the way of their daily lives, the Republicans and the Democrats, knowing that they are in the minority and declining in popularity each and every day, need to cast away the facade that they are enemies, and work together to defeat the desires of the people.

Sure, they can control mass media and polling organizations to exclude the opposition, but with the surge of effectiveness of social media, that no longer seems to work. So… what to do? What to do?

Trump! Yes, that’s it! We can grab another 8 years of power against the people if he can pull this off.

To those who believe that Trump is here to elect the Democratic nominee, your sour grapes are refreshing music to my ears. You may not realize it, but your paranoia shows that you are waking up to the fact that Republicans and Democrats actually do have the same agenda, and they have been fooling us all along that they are opposites.

Now that you are awake, I suggest that you join the rest of awake Americans and get rid of both old parties’ control over the world. The truth is they really are only different in their rhetoric. So, I suggest that you yell that from the mountaintops. That is the only way we take back the country for the people and get rid of that damaging duopoly that you thought were enemies all these years.  Their real enemy was the people, and only now are the masses getting to realize this.

With regard to conspiracy theories as a whole… If our government was not so horribly dishonest, many would not feel the need to subscribe. I have a blanket mistrust of anything I am told by my government, but do not spend time whittling down the specifics of what I think really happened. My natural assumption is that I am being lied to about nearly everything, and that is likely true.  They are entertaining and can be a great source of discussion, however.

While it seems highly unlikely to me that Trump is here to elect Hillary, it simply confirms one thing: That very thought is clear evidence that change is on the horizon. Thank goodness!
