We at Being Libertarian are excited to announce several exciting changes in our Social Media Department (SMD). The guys and girls who run our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram presence have recently attained the status of a full department when Chip Slate was invited onto the Board of Directors of Being Libertarian LLC. It now joins the Literature & Publications Department (L&P) as a pillar of our corporate structure. This gives SMD a newfound independence in conducting their affairs, which will, no doubt, lead to higher quality content being produced more often for our hundreds of thousands of fans across the world.

Our Chief Executive Officer, Nathaniel Owen, had this to say:

“The liberty movement needs more people like Chip Slate. He’s a deity; a flawless manager capable of juggling the many demands Being Libertarian LLC makes of him and his Social Media Department. He stabilized and brought back to life our social media presence during our shutdown in 2017, and has since proven himself more than capable of being the mastermind we need while regrouping and popularizing libertarianism around the world. Without Chip, we would be many miles behind our current progress. I’ve got full faith in him and his choices. It’s an honor and a privilege to welcome such a pragmatic, selfless activist to our leadership.”

Slate himself says:

“Working with Being Libertarian has been an absolute dream for me. My colleagues are, hands down, the best in the business and we all hold persistent liberty to be our common goal. The liberty movement has never been more popular and we at Being Libertarian are perfectly situated to help steward the future of freedom from government both here and abroad. I look forward to helping guide Being Libertarian in my new role and continuing to expand our domestic and international growth.”

One of Slate’s first decisions as Director of Social Media was to appoint Lance Cayko as the Deputy Director of SMD.

Slate is not your typical Facebook page manager. He is a degreed lawyer, like myself, with a highly respectable decency about him that is hard to find in the social media scene nowadays. He approaches problems with consideration and kindness, and qualifies in all respects of the word as a professional. Having Slate on Being Libertarian LLC’s Board is a great gift we have given ourselves, as there should be no doubt that Slate is here for the long haul that will take this Virginia-based company all around the world.
