In 2010 Hillary Clinton appeared thoroughly concerned about internet censorship in China:
Clinton likened online censorship by countries such as China, Vietnam and Iran to the rise of communist Europe, warning that a new “information curtain” threatened to descend on the world unless action to protect internet freedoms was taken.
But most recently several independent reporters have been calling out social and mainstream media sources in the US for censoring negative content about the Democratic presidential candidate.
The Huffington Post Bans Writer & Deletes Article Regarding Hillary’s Health
Former Huffington Post contributor David Seaman wrote an article entitled “Hillary Clinton’s Health Is Superb (Aside From Seizures, Lesions, Adrenaline Pens)” (that link is cached on Google).
On it, among other things, he embedded Paul Joseph Watson’s YouTube clip discussing the topic. The clip has almost 5 million views at this point.
His article was subsequently deleted and he was terminated from his job without warning.

CNN cancels Dr. Drew’s Show After He Questions Hillary Clinton’s Health Care
Drew Pinsky, aka Dr. Drew, who had a show on HLN expressed grave concerns about Mrs. Clinton’s health and her healthcare in particular on McIntyre in the Morning (KABC Radio) on August 16th, after reviewing available information with Dr. Robert Huizenga.
Among other things he stated:
Based on the information she has provided, he were gravely concerned not just about her health, but her health care
(…)
Both of us concluded that if we provided the care she was receiving, we’d be ashamed to show up in a doctors lounge, we’d be laughed out.
(…)
She’s receiving sort of 1950-level sort of care by our evaluation
Nine days later HLN confirmed that the show is being canceled.
Google Autocomplete Manipulation
The search engine Google is preventing auto completes critical of Mrs. Clinton from showing up in their search box while they show up on virtually all other search engines, including searches related to the FBI’s criminal investigation that was ongoing at the time:
Politifact claimed that this was due to a provision in Google’s algorithm to filter out disparaging or offensive content in connection to people, but in that same article they actually supply solid evidence that this was not the case, at least when they wrote the article in June, given that entering “Donald Trump rac” would autocomplete to several results linked to “donald trump racist”:
Furthermore, Google is hiding popular searches for issues related to Mrs. Clinton’s health, which lots of people all over the country are obviously concerned with, and which have nothing to do with disparaging or offensive content:
Twitter Hashtag Manipulation
Over the past couple of months there have been numerous reports of Twitter manipulating the auto complete suggestions for trending hashtags, and outright removing them from their overview when critical of or potentially harmful to Mrs. Clinton. For example, when entering “#HillarysH” it would autocomplete to “#HilaryHealth” (note the missing letters l and s). Twitter seems to have corrected this attempted manipulation at this point.
In July Breitbart reported:
“#DNCLeaks” was one of the top trending topics on Twitter this Friday with over 250,000 tweets reported to have been made under the hashtag since WikiLeaks released over 19,000 leaked emails from the Democratic National Committee.
Later on in the day, the hashtag was reported to have gone missing from the trending bar completely for around 20 minutes, before returning under the less popular hashtag “#DNCleak”. The change meant that those investigating the new trending hashtag would not see all of the other posts tagged under the previous version, effectively hiding over 250,000 tweets from the public.
Here are some more instances of people complaining about Twitter manipulating hashtags related to Mrs. Clinton:
twitter is trending #DNCLeak instead of #DNCLeaks
wow. i'm totally speechless at all this mass corruption

I feel a visceral sense of disgust when imagining that someone high up at Twitter is sitting at his desk and secretly messing with people’s hashtags in this manner, just so he can help manage public opinion of a candidate he presumably favors.
Internet Throwing Turd In Establishment’s Punchbowl
If all or some of these instances are indeed the result of deliberate manipulation, then it is clear that the established media and its affiliated politicians and lobbyists have noticed that they have lost control of managing public opinion and framing the narrative.
It also seems clear in that case that they are totally underestimating the power of today’s decentralized alternative media which has been calling them out on a daily basis at this point. I guess there’s a reason why only 6% of Americans trust the mainstream media.
